Case Study: Unipx Media & FICFF – Video Production for the 79th United Nations General Assembly

Project: Video Production for the “Fashion in a Conscious Future Foundation” at the Special Forum in the SDG Media Zone during the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly

Objective:


Unipx Media enlisted Raised Media Co. to capture and produce video content for Fashion In a Conscious Future Foundation's Special Forum (FICFF) at the SDG Media Zone during the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. This project had two key objectives:


1. Raise awareness for FICFF’s mission to highlight sustainability in fashion and its role in shaping a better future for children worldwide.


2. Capture and produce separate interviews with influential figures, including:

Abigail Posner – Director of U.S. Creative Works at Google

Max Alexander – Fashion designer and 8-year-old prodigy (profiled by The New York Post)

Maribel Lieberman – Founder & CEO of Mariebelle Chocolates


 


Each interview was critical in showcasing how these leaders are pushing the boundaries of fashion and creativity, aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Challenges:


This project came with a significant challenge: time. Raised Media Co. was given only two days to capture footage at three separate locations, including the United Nations, and deliver a polished, final video before the forum. Balancing the need for speed without sacrificing quality was essential.


Additionally, the weight of the event – being part of the United Nations General Assembly – demanded the highest level of professionalism. The stakes couldn’t have been higher, as this was an opportunity to make a lasting impression on a global platform.


Approach:


Speed, Flexibility, and Precision were the pillars of our approach.


1. Pre-production: We immediately set up a comprehensive production plan. Our team worked closely with Unipx Media to organize a flexible schedule, ensuring we could seamlessly move from interviews to event coverage.


2. Filming: With a lean crew, we maximized efficiency while maintaining quality. Our team conducted interviews with high-profile figures like Abigail Posner, Max Alexander, and Maribel Lieberman. These interviews not only added depth to the event but also highlighted the personal connections between fashion, sustainability, and global impact.


3. Post-production: Editing was done in real-time to meet the deadline. We curated a highlight reel of the event, capturing the energy of the forum and the insights shared by attendees. Additionally, the full panel discussion was produced and delivered, offering a comprehensive view of FICFF’s efforts.


 

Results:


Despite the incredibly tight timeline, Raised Media Co. delivered exceptional video content that exceeded expectations. Our highlight reel and full panel discussion video were instrumental in raising awareness for FICFF’s mission and driving engagement both during and after the event.


The high-quality footage was leveraged by FICFF and Unipx Media to extend the conversation around sustainability in fashion, further amplifying their message to a global audience.
